1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using mkts ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. Continued use of the Service after any modifications to these terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Account Registration & Eligibility

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Service Tiers

mkts offers two service tiers:

• Free tier — Access to portfolio tracking, watchlists, market data, and limited AI-powered analysis (5 queries per day).
• Premium tier ($10/month) — Everything in the free tier plus unlimited AI-powered analysis, processed via Stripe.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Service.
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense market data obtained through the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or related systems.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The mkts name, logo, user interface, and all associated branding are the intellectual property of mkts. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service's design, code, or branding without prior written permission. User-generated content (portfolios, watchlists) remains the property of the user.

6. Data Disclaimer

The Service provides market data sourced from third-party providers including CoinGecko and Yahoo Finance. This data is provided on an "as-is" basis. mkts does not provide financial advice. All market data, AI-generated analysis, and portfolio information are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as investment recommendations. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.

7. Payment & Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly at $10/month through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle unless canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Upon cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, mkts and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or investment losses arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
